Description
If you are looking to add variety and flavor to your lunch options, this Brie and ham melt is an easy, delicious solution.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 brioche bun or croissant
- 2 – 3 slices of uncured ham – we prefer the deli option “old fashioned uncured ham off the bone)
- 3 – 4 slices of brie or camembert cheese
- butter for spreading if you use bread or a bun, not really needed on a croissant since they are usually so buttery
Instructions
- First slice the bun or bread
- Spread a thin layer of butter on the inside of the bun or bread you are using
- Lay the ham on the bottom slice
- Layer the brie over the top
- Close the bun
- Bake at 375° for 15 minutes or until the brie is melted
- Bon Appetit!
Notes
- If using a croissant, you may skip the butter part of the instructions, as croissants are already very buttery.
- You could use Brie or Camembert cheese. Camembert typically has a stronger flavor than brie but both will create a delicious result.
- Use thicker slices of cheese for a more savory sandwich.
- We love this sandwich on Brioche buns!
