Description
This Made Rite Sandwich is comfort food at its finest, with a mustard and vinegar base, you can add your favorite seasonings to make it your own.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 yellow onion, finely chopped
- 2 T olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, pressed
- 3 T Dijon mustard
- 4 T Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2–1 tsp smoked paprika
- salt and pepper to taste
- 3/4 cup beef stock
Instructions
- Finely chop about 1/2 of a yellow onion.
- Warm 2 T olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Then, add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add ground beef and begin to crumble and brown it.
- Add pressed garlic cloves as you cook the ground beef and onion together.
- Once it is about 75% done cooking, add smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt and pepper. Combine the flavors together and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Next, add 3 T Dijon mustard and 4 T Worcestershire sauce, then stir to combine.
- Lastly, add the 3/4 cup beef stock. Allow this to simmer for 15 minutes for liquid to boil down.
- Serve warm on a bun. You may want to use a slotted spoon to scoop the meat and drain excess liquid and avoid a soggy bun!
