  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/21 tsp smoked paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3/4 cup beef stock

  2. Warm 2 T olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.  Then, add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add ground beef and begin to crumble and brown it.
  4. Add pressed garlic cloves as you cook the ground beef and onion together.
  5. Once it is about 75% done cooking, add smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt and pepper.  Combine the flavors together and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Next, add 3 T Dijon mustard and 4 T Worcestershire sauce, then stir to combine.
  7. Lastly, add the 3/4 cup beef stock.  Allow this to simmer for 15 minutes for liquid to boil down.
  8. Serve warm on a bun.  You may want to use a slotted spoon to scoop the meat and drain excess liquid and avoid a soggy bun!
