How to Make these Ginger Turmeric Shots
Use a Juicer:

A juicer is preferred as it easily separates the pulp and unnecessary parts of the produce while squeezing out the rest for the shots. I have prepared it in a blender before, however, it is less time-efficient and requires much more clean-up.
Tips on Using Turmeric: When making anything with fresh turmeric, you need to be careful as it has a lovely bright orange color which can stain your clothes, countertops, sink and etc. You may want to wear an apron or old t-shirt and cover your countertops. Just make sure to clean everything right after making the shots to be sure bright orange turmeric juice is not lingering anywhere. Dish soap with a scrubby side of the sponge can usually get out the spots on the countertop if it splatters. To be safe, you can use an old towel, disposable tablecloth, or flatten out a trash bag underneath the juicer and your work area, to protect your countertop.
