One of life’s great combinations is chocolate and coffee.  If you agree, you’ll have to try this chocolate liqueur coffee. This is a fun and fancy homemade coffee for which you don’t have to leave the house.  We love having these ingredients on hand for guests or to make a special coffee drink during a slow Sunday morning.

Prepared coffee drink topped with whipped cream, alongside the Dorda brand chocolate Liqueur, and Vanilla Spiced coffee creamer

The Ingredients

You will want to brew an extra strong coffee (4 oz per cup you make) because the other ingredients will dilute the coffee flavor. In addition, you’ll need chocolate liqueur, milk or preferred coffee creamer (check out the Vanilla Spiced Coffee Creamer recipe which goes well), whipped cream, and a chocolate bar for shaving as a garnish.

Making this Special Coffee

First, brew a strong pot of coffee.  If using a Keurig or espresso machine, se the smaller cup option. Then pour 4 ounces of coffee into the cup.  Add 1 oz of chocolate liqueur and 1/2 ounce of coffee creamer.  Then, top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

Enjoy!
