One of life’s great combinations, chocolate and coffee. If you agree, you’ll have to try this chocolate liqueur coffee. This is a fun and fancy homemade coffee that you don’t have to leave the house for. We love having these ingredients on hand for guests or to make a special coffee drink during a slow Sunday morning.
Chocolate Liqueur Coffee Ingredients
You will want to brew an extra strong coffee (4 oz per cup you make) because the other ingredients will dilute the coffee flavor. In addition, you’ll need chocolate liqueur, milk or preferred coffee creamer (check out the Vanilla Spiced Coffee Creamer recipe which goes well), whipped cream, and a chocolate bar for shaving as a garnish.
Making the Chocolate Liqueur Coffee
First brew a strong pot of coffee. If using a Keurig or espresso machine, se the smaller cup option. Then pour 4 ounces of coffee into the cup. Add 1 oz of chocolate liqueur and 1/2 ounce of coffee creamer. Then, top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
Enjoy!
