5-Minute Coleslaw Ingredients

Since I frequently serve BBQ-style meals in the summer, I add a 14-ounce bag of shredded coleslaw cabbage to the grocery list to have on hand for this recipe.  You will also need mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, dried celery seed, salt, pepper and honey.

Preparing the Coleslaw

First, pour the pre-shredded 14 ounces of coleslaw mix or shredded cabbage into a large mixing bowl.  Then, in a separate small mixing bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, 2T apple cider vinegar, 2 tsp Dijon mustard, 1 tsp celery seeds, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper, and 2 T of honey.  Now, pour the dressing over the cabbage and combine thoroughly. Serve immediately or store covered in the mixing bowl or serving bowl of your choice until ready to eat!
